Taking Action Against Classism...

Blatant classism should be treated with the same contempt that most people feel when they witness racism, sexism or homophobia. Unfortunately this is not the case. In the UK we are confronted with negative class stereotypes on a daily basis; our media pokes fun at the poor in the name of 'entertainment', our teachers make judgments based on class; even charities, businessmen and politicians often seem to act as if the poor are responsible for their own impoverishment.
